Rudolf Müller

Rudolf Müller studierte an der Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt/Main bei Gerd Wachowski, Tomasz Adam Nowak und Martin Sander. Seine Studien schloss er mit dem A-Examen für Kirchenmusik, dem Diplom für Künstlerische Ausbildung und dem Konzertexamen ab.

Meisterkurse für Improvisation u.a. bei Thierry Escaich, Hans Gebhard, Wolfgang Seifen und Peter Planyavsky runden seine Ausbildung ab.

Rudolf Müller ist Preisträger internationaler Orgelwettbewerbe, außerdem war er Stipendiat des Kuratoriums Schlosskirche Bad Homburg.

Seit 1994 ist er Kirchenmusiker an der Klosterkirche Mariannhill in Würzburg. Dort ist er u. a. künstlerischer Leiter der internationalen Konzertreihe und leitet das von ihm gegründete Mariannhill Chamber Orchestra.

Als Konzertorganist spielt er auf renommierten Musikfestivals u. a. in Deutschland, Italien, Luxemburg, Belgien, Tschechien, Südafrika, in der Schweiz, in der Slowakei, in Spanien, in Ungarn und den USA. Seine CD's sind bei Priory Records und Rondeau Production erschienen.

Studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt / Main with Prof. Gerd Wachowski (organ literature , improvisation), Prof. Tomasz Adam Nowak (improvisation), Prof. Dr. Martin Sander (organ literature), Prof. Winfried Toll (chorus) and Prof. Godehard Joppich (gregorian chant) .

Master classes for improvisation with Thierry Escaich, Hans Gebhard, Wolfgang Seifen, Peter Planyavsky and others.

2002 exam for church music ´A´.

Prizewinner at international organ competitions (first prize and audience prize at the International Bach Competition in Wiesbaden, First Prize and Audience Prize at the International Competition for organ improvisation Schwäbisch Gmünd, third prize at the International Organ Competition of Valentino Bucchi Foundation of Rome) .

Rudolf Müller

nato nel 1977 a Würzburg (Germania), comincia la sua formazione musicale all’età di 5 anni e nel 1990 si dedica allo studio organistico.

Compie i suoi studi presso l’ Univeristria “Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst” in Fankfurt/Main (Germania), sotto la guida dei docenti: Prof. Gerd Wachowski (Letteratura Organistica, Improvvisazione), Prof. Tomasz Adam Nowak (Improvvisazione), Prof. Dr. Martin Sander (Letteratura Organistica), Prof. Winfried Toll (Direzione Corale) e il Prof. Godehard Joppich (Gregoriano).

Ha seguito ulteriori e numerosi corsi d’Improvvisazione con: Thierry Escaich, Hans Gebhard, Wolfgang Seifen, Peter Planyavsky.

Consegue il Diploma Superiore di tipo “A” con assolvimento per la Musica Sacra (2002), l'Esame di Formazione Artistica in Organo Principale (2003), Assolvimento degli esami di Formazione Concertistica presso la Classe Solistica di Organo (2007). Premiato in concorsi organistici internazionali (Primo Premio e Premio del Pubblico al “Concorso Internazionale di Musica Bachiana” a Wiesbaden, il Primo Premio e il Premio del Pubblico al “Concorso Internazionale per Organo e Improvvisazione” di Schwäbisch Gmünd, il Terzo Premio al “Concorso Organistico Internazionale Fondazione Valentino Bucchi” a Roma) Vincitore della Borsa di studio istituita dalla Fondazione "Schlosskirche Bad Homburg ".

Dal 1994 è Organista Titolare e responsabile dell’attività musicale presso il Monastero di Mariannhill in Würzburg, dove svolge servizio e promozione concertistico-culturale. Docente di Letteratura e Improvvisazione Organistica presso Il Matthias-Grünewald-Gymnasium di Würzburg. Svolge un’intensa attività concertistica internazionale (Germania, Lussemburgo, Italia, Israele, Sudafrica) in veste solistica, in duo con la moglie Roswitha Pax (Violinista) e in formazioni cameristiche Oboe e Organo, Flauto e Organo; si esibisce inoltre con Maria Mokhova, in Organo a Quattro Mani (Orgelduo Esprit).
